Daily ticket costs 10 euros. There is a two day ticket with 18 euros and an all festival (4 days) ticket with 30 euros. Staying at the camping is included at the ticket price.

How to get there

Vlasti is 160 km from Thessaloniki and approximately 500 km from Athens (in Larisa we follow the intersection for Kozani). You leave the Egnatia Road at the junction of Kozani and take a turn heading towards Ptolemaida.Upon entering the city, turn left at the first traffic lights (there are road signs indicating) towards Kriovrisi, Vlasti, Anarachi. About a kilometre after Kriovrisi turn left for Vlasti (12km).

Another route about 12km longer is the following: After the junction of Kozani, continue the route on The Egnatia Road and at the junction of Siatista we take the National Highway towards Kastoria. About 11km later, turn right at the intersection for Eratira.You follow the road signs for Sisani (19km) and Vlasti (25km).

From Igoumentitsa head towards Ioannina and then towards Kozani. Before getting to Kozani, a few km after Neapoli turn towards Eratira according to the instructions given above.

There is regular transportation from Athens and Thessaloniki towards Ptolemaida using coaches (KTEL buses) as well as taking the train.

From Thessaloniki there are 6 busses daily direst to Ptolemaida

From Ptolemaida to Vlasti there is only one daily bus during the festival days at 17.30 in the afternoon (there is direct connection to the 15.30 bus from Thessaloniki)

Free Camping
To our visitors we offer the opportunity for free camping in a marvelous natural environment, on the hill of Profitis Ilias which is situated close to the village on a plateau full of oaks and beeches. The camping has basic infrastructure (which are renovated this year): drinkable water, toilets and showers, bar and electricity provided by the sun with the use of edge technology solar systems. In the same are there will be daily percussion seminars organized by the Percussion Group of the Music Department of the National Metsovian Polytechnic University, yoga seminars during the weekend, surprise afternoon concerts and more.
 
Where and What to Eat
In the area of the events there will be an all-day restaurant with organic and traditional products in very friendly prices. In the area of the concerts you can find snacks from locally produced meat. For the serving we will try to avoid the easy solution of plastic disposable plates and cutlery and we will try to use biodegradable materials. Furthermore the village taverns and coffee shops, as well as the restaurant in the mountain hotel of Mouriki, will be glad to serve you.
Attraction Sites of the Area

As Vlasti is located right in the centre of Western Macedonia, you can go on daily outings to natural and historical sites of the wider area. We have recommended some of the following sites:

  • Siatista with its 30 manor houses, the Paleontological and Botanical Museum which is housed in the Trapantzio Lyceum, as well as the Mesiano Water valley in Vourino.
  • The Environmental Center of Arktouro and the Centre of Protection for the Wolf which are located in Aeto, as well as the historical Nimfeo where the Centre of Protection for the Bear is located.
  • Kastoria, a city with 60 and more byzantine churches, manor houses and its lake that leaves you with a sense of aweness. In addition, you can visit the prehistoric lakeside dwellings in the village of Dispilio and the fossilized forest in the village of Nostimo.
  • The lakes of Prespes which are a valuable part of our natural and cultural heritage.

Vlasti is located at an altitude of 1.240 m. Even during a heatwave the climate is quite cool
Warm clothing is an an absolute must at night so as not to get cold and to also have a pleasant stay
