This year's EARTH FESTIVAL will be once more a resistance to the commericialization, flattening and homogenization of art, culture and fun. This alternative ethnic festival will be organized for the11th year in succession, between 14 to 17 July 2011 in the village of Vlasti, Kozani, by the Community of Vlasti in collaboration with Environmental NGO ECOTOPIA. At an altitude of 1240 m, on the plateaus of Mt. Siniatsiko, greek and international artists will create a multicultural celebration, a meeting of cultures, in an attempt to promote the unique and prove that the coexisting of cultures can only be a feast. At the same time Earth Festival is promoting a different attitude of people towards nature, with respect to the values of the environment.

Attendance of people exceeded every expectation. More fun than ever, but also new infrastructure and a multicultural artistic program, were the characteristics of the great success that was last year's Earth Festival. You can also get a taste of Earth Festival 2010, in the following video.

For 6th consecutive year Vlasti Community organizes Doumbia Musical Seminars from 22 July - 1 August 2010 under the artistic direction of Mikis Michailidis. The seminars include piano, violin, viola/chamber music, violoncello, guitar, flute, clarinet voice/ opera, accompanist voice, conducting & accompanist. more
